Dissertation Launch - London's Library Ecosystem: Find out about libraries you can access in London (Taught Postgraduates) Online

Queen Mary University of London students in London are at the centre of a vast library ecosystem.  As well as the Queen Mary Library Services, they can access a range of library collections, resources, facilities beyond Queen Mary.

The intended audience for this session are taught postgraduate students undertaking a dissertation or similar research project.

Intended Learning Outcomes:   

  1. Explore how Queen Mary Library Services fits into the London Library Ecosystem and what is available to researchers beyond Queen Mary Library Services. 

  2. Identify library collections, resources, facilities which could help researchers in their own research. 

  3. Register for SCONUL access to libraries beyond Queen Mary.

  4. Use Library Hub Discover tool to explore what is available to researchers in London’s Library Ecosystem. 

 

This session will be delivered online by the Queen Mary Library Services' Humanities & Social Sciences Academic Skills & Liaison Librarian (Rich Evans), but participants from other faculties/disciplines are welcome too.
