Join us for an overview of the Harvard referencing style which includes an introduction to the Cite Them Right Online referencing tool.

Objectives
By the end of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Define what referencing is and why it is important.
  • Understand what the Harvard referencing style is and why we use it.
  • Create references for common sources using the Harvard referencing style.
  • Evaluate a selection of tools to help them reference in the Harvard style.

Although this session is provided by the Library Services’ Humanities & Social Sciences Academic Skills & Liaison Librarian (Rich Evans), students from other faculties/disciplines are also most welcome.  The intended audience for this session is taught students: undergraduates and taught postgraduates.
