What it means to be a university student?

What it means to be a university student? Online

This webinar will provide students with the opportunity to explore what it means to be a university student. We recognise the transition from school/college to university can be exciting but also challenging at times if students are not clear about what is expected of them. In this interactive session, I will use the ‘ideal’ student survey (developed from the 'ideal student' research project) for students to share their views based on their current ideas about what it means to be a university student. You will be encouraged to share and discuss your thoughts on the most important or desirable features of a student in your discipline, through online survey questions and group discussion. You will also hear from existing students about their experiences and tips. Some success strategies of students from my research will also be discussed. This session will conclude with useful resources to support your transition to university.
